Two New Babies

Before vacation, we started out with three eggs.  When I came back a week later the nest has two eggs.  Now I have seen several snakes in the yard and I know that some of them like a good egg now and then.  I was told also that maybe the parents understood the egg not to be good and they got rid of it....whatever the case may be...I feel sad for the one but I have two babies!

I hope they survive.  Really haven't seen much of mom and dad.  But then again I have been busy and not able to spend as much time outside as I would like.  But that will change soon.
