A Soggy Day Two ComesTo An End

Day Two...another day in Paradise!

We still haven't seen a sunrise...too many clouds.

I saw this shell and thought it looked like a head with big eyes and an opened mouth.

Headed to the east end of the island.

Pappy for us some treasures.

A mailbox...

Holden Golden Memories

Inside the mailbox there were several notebooks holding lots of memories written by people visiting Holden Beach and a PAINTED ROCK!  I was so excited!

First time I have ever seen the other side of the island.

Ahhhhh

He got a little cold today in the water.

Does he like Hot Tamales.

We left three rocks on the beach in the shell paths along the shore.  Nerve racking waiting for someone to pick them up.

She's on my raft in the tide pool.

He can ride the waves forever.

Who will win the battle...Michael standing or the waves pushing him down.

Just taking a little break in the sprinkles.

Cassie finally wrapped up in a long sleeved shirt.
Little chilly but we stuck it out.

Pappy had to put his book, well, Cassie's book under his shirt to keep it dry.

They were like little moles or crabs...digging like crazy.

And there it is.

I finally gave it up and moved to the porch swing to watch to see who picked up the rock that we left on the beach.

And there they are reading it and checking it out.

For more entertainment we fed the seagulls.

Before dinner Trevor ran some errands and took the kids with him  Look what they found.

I asked to be a part of the Holden Beach Rocks group so we could post the pics on FaceBook.

While dinner was cooking Michael taught us a new card game.

So tonight we hit Beaches-n-Cream for ice cream.

We ate on the porch and dropped off three rocks.

Off to the house to play cards, one more dip in the ocean and bed!
