Great Day For A Little Hike

We all loaded in the truck with a few snacks and headed about an hour away.  Half the fun is the ride!

70 steps down to a swinging bridge.

 Water was  up just a bit.

And here we go!

A little bit of creek walking.

Sometime we hung on the side and walked on a really small ledge.

 They all three turned into mountain goats.

Or maybe mountain lions.

Pappy found a 50 pound walking stick.

 If there had been a cave they would have been in it.

Alaire took my camera and began to shoot as they came across the bridge.

We could not have asked for a more perfect hiking day.  Sad that we had to head back home soon after we dropped the Oakes off and picked dup Ella.  I am ready to go back...maybe camp the next time!
