A Little Fishing And A Dr Appointment

Emmy and I caravanned to WV this time.  We started out with horrible skies.

By the time we pulled out of the driveway the sky opened up and poured like I have never seen it pour!

Crazy looking sky!

We traveled about 40 mph until we got off at Keim Family Market.  Emmy followed my tail lights and I followed the guy in from of me.

Speaking if Keim...anyone ever had on of the Big Daddy donuts?  I wanted to get one so bad but Emmy said no!

I dropped off a little sunshine in the dining roo,  The sunflowers are from a friend of mine, Denise, and the purple iris are from our yard.

We made it to the pond.  I brought a beach chair for him instead of the spider web chair.

First fish of the day!

And his sister.

Dustin came to fish for awhile.  Peep caught a little bluegill.  He has a bum right hand so everything is really hard for him  We got him all set up in the shade and went back for all the other stuff.  When we got back he said he needed a little help.  I asked him doing what.  He said you are going to have to take my fish off...you mean that little bitty thing?

We took turns fishing out of the pontoon.   First bass for me of the day.  Look at his tail...something took a chunk out of it.  Poor guy.

Nice little one out of the shade.

And his big sister showed up for the party...she must have been hungry because sh really swallowed the hook.

Robin pulled them in left and right.  She didn't see any need to take a pic of all of them.

The biggest one for me of the day.

Time to call it a day!  Well don't you know that 3/4 of the way back to the dock, the motor decides to stop.  Dead in the water.  We had one paddle and a broom.  I paddles off the front right, left and middle...all against the wind.  Robin tried her best to make that broom work.  We finally made it to the dirt jetty that you can see where Dustin heard our cries for help and came to our rescue.

Peep is having a little trouble with his right wrist.  Not sure what is going on but we will be seeing the doctor on Monday.  Nurse Emmy wrapped it and gave him a little pep talk.

The last thing we did today was ROCK all the residents at Wyngate.  Emmy helped me deliver the rocks to each room.  Can't wait to see the reaction tomorrow.

Tomorrow is another fishing day.  Our cousin Kim and my dad's two sisters are going to the lake with us too.
