New Recipe

This is one happy camper.  She has asked for weeks to make playdough.  Today was the day.  While Rori was at Preschool we made playdough.  Only one problem...I had no cream of tarter.  I checked Google for a recipe without cream of tarter.  I will post it after the pictures.

Rori was excited when Madi told her that she had made some playdough for them to paly with.

Rori likes to work with big pieces that she can squish.  Madi likes to pinch off little pieces...a million little pieces that end up on the floor, smashed into the knee of her pants, smeared all over the chairs and a trail through the house.  We don;t can, we just work as a team to get it all cleaned up.

Smoothest Playdough Ever

1 cup of flour
1/4 cup of salt
3 teaspoons of vinegar or lemon juice
3 Tablespoons of oil
1/2 cup fo water
food coloring (we used neon green)
something to add smell (we used peppermint oil)

Mix all dry ingredients in a pan on the stove.  Add all liquids and cook over medium heat.  Stir until there is no shine and it rolls into a ball.  Not sticky.  Knead on the counter covered with a little flour.  We store it in plastic bags  int he fridge.
