Funny Story

There is a fun thing going around...Milford, OH Rocks!.  You can find it on FB.  The idea is so simple...do something so small...place a painted somewhere where someone will find it.  Then, in turn, that person takes it and hides it in plain sight for someone else to find.  Take a picture of it and post it on Milford Ohio Rocks!  Also, tell where you found the rock.

Now the funny story...

A friend of mine at church, Shannon, is the best rock painter that I know.  Sunday sometime when we were standing she put a rock in my seat.  I never felt it (and I sat a lot) until I checked the time on my phone and I hit it with my phone.  Crack me up!

Perfect for me!  In so many ways.  Thanks, Shannon.  I'm sorry but this one is staying home with me.

Now back to the funny story...Today we went to radiation.  I was so nervous.  I knew exactly where I would put the rock...right next to check in where you couldn't miss it.  So I went to my seat to wait.

Oh, I also wrote a little note to explain what it was all about.

The first lady came in.  I am sweating bullets.  Nothing...seriously...she never missed a beat.

Then my dad comes out with an escort because he was a bit dizzy.  the nurse in the blue saw it first.  I watched her read the note. She ran into the back room and got another nurse. Then I had to help my dad with his jacket so I couldn't get my camera out very fast.  Then try to do it so no one knows that you are taking the shot.  No problem they never looked up.  I will be interested to see if it si still there or if someone picked it up.

I hid one on the buffet at lunch.  Val found it.

Val and I talked about it and we decided that everyone room should get one.  So, Shannon, you have your work cut out for you.
