Day One Of the Rest Of The Treatments

I saw this t-shirt last night on FB.  Thank you, Dr. Suess, for the inspiration.  This pretty much sums it up today.

Checking in for the first day of the rest of the 21 treatments.  It was 17 but since we missed a few the week that the wall fell on him, we need to make those up.  In his mind there are only 17 more treatments.  But I asked...it's 21.  So M-F we will be headed to SMMC for radiation only until April 4th.

In his mind, he thinks he will be able to complete it this time because he knows what to expect.  I hope and pray that we can all be as positive as possible. With the help of Peep's Peeps, I know we can do it.  So Peeps, we need to encourage, encourage, and encourage even more.  Please if you have his number give him a call in the evening around 6:30-7pm...that seems to be the hardest time of the day.  Talk to him or leave a text.  Just touch base.  Cards are so much fun for all of us.
