Belated Christmas

The yahoos in Wammyville were very patient this year. Because of circumstances beyond my control, the yahoos had to wait until the first week in January to celebrate Christmas in Wammyville.  But what fun we did have when it finally happened!

One dark and dreary day, we talked about what fun we were going to have when we finally got to celebrate Christmas.

We were ready the day before wearing our Christmas hats and singing Christmas carols.

Just so happened that some of the Wammyville graduates had a Snow Day and got to join us!!!  I put them to work.  No slacking around here.

I hope when I was spread eagle on the driveway taking a selfie of me and the snow, no one saw me.  I was just a little excited that we even got a flake.

Good timing for a Snow Day...we had a full house on Preschool carpool day.  Ally is a Jack-of-all-trades.  And King Louie loved every minute of it!

I think they were pleased with the final product.

And then there was more snow!

Presents under the tree!

Everybody's back from preschool and ready to party!

There was cookie decorating...

...melted snowman making (Thanks Betsy)...

...smiles by the millions....

...always lots of silliness...

...learning hidden talents...

...decorations...

...sprinkles...

...happiness...

...sticky fingers...

...told ya...lots of smiles!

And remembering things back in the day.

One big old table full of a whole lot of love!

And last but not least...gift opening!

I think the girls loved their scarves.

And of course Carter loves his new gun.

Ally and her BFF craft kit.

I heard that Ellie worn her scarf out in the snow later on that day.

Thank you, Lord, for sending Betsy and her loving and helping hands.

School let out 2 hours early because of the weather so by the time the youngest yahoos left for home, the older ones were getting off the bus.

They had to have a party also.  So Christmas Party round two here we come!

Perfect shirt for today!

Another perfect shirt for the day.

Prettiest little girl snowperson I have ever seen...look at those beautiful lashes.

Good to the last sprinkle!

A rocket for the science kid.

We had a blast!
