Busy Week Around Here
Been so busy I really haven't had time to do all the blogging I should have, the days have all seemed to run together. So I have decided to post what pics I haven't posted here on the family blog. You are getting some farm stuff along with family stuff. Lucky you all.
Boomerang is up to his old tricks! The first thing the yahoos do when they come in is look for Boom. Then they tell we about Sally, Twitchy, and Honey.
Betsy has the touch!
We have been working on Betsy's house just about every day of the week. The other night Karen came for some soup and dinner. We put her to work in the Craft Room. We may get lost in here and need assistance getting out. Look what we found!
I got this from Bryce...I thought it was a greeting card. Then I looked again and saw that it was Sam sitting by the stockings at his house.
The girls talking about Boomerang being int he tree.
Big sister working her magic.
Learning to cut with a knife. She did a super job.
King Louie all smiles this minute.
Getting ready to fix an Ellis family favorite..Ms. Connie's jello cranberry salad.
Pappy and Louie have become fast friends. They both love a good country song with a little Buffet thrown in.
Never a resting moment. Betsy and I made mac and cheese for 50 people for a family dinner after a funeral celebration.
I found a sweet gift from a lady from the CSA on the front porch last Tuesday. That is a first for me. She also had one there for Rue.
We got a new book to read before nap time. Pretty cute.
As a family we provided a Christmas for a family in our area. Each of us took part of the list. It was so much fun. We wrapped it and sent it to church on Sunday. I think they will all have a Merry Christmas.
Maddie took a nap in the small tent. I had to wake her up and that is unusual.
Betsy got to experience Freddy's...custard and all.
Art project this week was using wine corks (provided by Grammy). We made strings of Christmas lights.
Peep is on his way for Thanksamas.
He insisted on going down to Bryce and Tini's to see their place and play with Sam.
Sam had to check out Peep's hat.
Ellis and the rest of the IN crew are here too. Including Maddie.
We put him to work helping to make the famous Ellis Family ham salad.
The girls had decided if the goat hay container is slightly open, they will build a nest and lay eggs.
The playground was supposed to be for the goats.
Ready for the day.
Peep brought the boys a little brother.
Boogie could care less. Boot sniffed him but Scoot loves him.
New warm socks, new fleece pants freshly hemmed and Marks lined jacket to keep him warm. Not to mention three quilts on his bed.
As always we have fun, drive each other crazy, eat way too much, laugh until we cry and then cry just because we can. I have a framed needlework hanging in the kitchen that says..
Our family might not have it all together but together we have it all.
