Getting Some Exercise And Some Love

We deided that we all need to walk  some of the eatras from Thanksgiving off today.  We weren't the only wones with that idea.  The Nature Center was packed with people, big and little, and lots of dogs.

We took a friend along with us.  There is more to the story here, but it will come later.

I could hike all day.  The weather was perfect!

We signed a trail journal.  And everyone has a trail name.  I have had mine since out trip to the AT.  Michael gave Betsy her trail name..ChurchMouse, which is perfect!  And Michael will be known as Winter's Breath.

After the fam left we went right to cleaning.  Betsy wanted her room to look different.  She thinks that will help with the transition.  It looks so nice.  Very calming and soothing for sure.  And she more than loves it.  Next we are going to tackle the living room and dining room.  It was so much fun.  Her bed is from the old Cincinnati Hotel.  She had the sheets in the top of the closet and the down comforter in a bag in the spare bedroom.  The pillow was somewhere else.  We put them all together and it looks so nice.  The lamp is from the dining room.  I wish we could have gotten a full room shot.  It will be a nice sanctuary for her.
