We started out the day, even before clothes are on and hair is brushed, with a little ceramic painting.

And then we moved on to making an apple crisp for  her Grammy that had a little hospital stay.

I got this recipe many, many years ago from a coworker and two fo my kids 4-year-old preschool teacher...Linda Cummings.

It was been through the war and back.  I have memorized it but can't bear to rewrite the card.  It is a treasure.

Oh yes, and the cat finally dried.
