Another Fast Road Trip

I have a friend in WV... my special partner in crime from back in St John's Preschool Days.  I started working there when Cassie and Emmy were around 4.  So that means I have know Connie and her family for over 30 years.  We have been through a lot together...lots of ups and downs...but we always managed to have fun in them all.  Oh, the stories we could tell!  And we do tell them every time we see each other.

But first a stop to have dinner with my dad.  We they had one of our favorites...brown beans!  He had been to the allergist that day and was figuring out what he was allergic to...dust and dust mites.  While I was there I got to snag a container of after dinner mints from Amish country.  Yum!

I got a text from her saying that her Mom has passed.  Well, you know where I wanted to be!  I didn't tell her that I was coming just in case something went wrong on my end.  It was the opening week for Wammyville and I had parents and yahoos depending on me to be here.  But we worked things out and I left a little before the parents came for pick-up.  Pappy was in charge for about an hour.
