Quilting With Alaire

Alaire LOVES crafts and her Auntie Em knows this.  So this year she got her very own sewing machine!  First project was a quilted baby blanket for her doll.  And a pillow.

I was not ready to let her use my rotary cutter so it was old school cutting and trimming.

Pinning was not her favorite part of the process.

At first she was stop and go, stop and go.....

I drew lines on the top for her to follow.  Pretty good job on the first one.  the second quilt was a breeze.

Her knuckles were white she was holding on so tight.

And then Cassie picked up the camera.

She informed me after finishing one that we had to make another one because her dolls had a bunk bed.

And I didn't get a finished product shot.  I'll have Cassie send one.
