Christmas With The Ellis Side

 We made it!  And we found a really great place to stay!  Sure is different not going to the places we usually do  But it is a new chapter and many adventures are headed our way I feel sure.

I wish I had take some shots of all the food that Lisa and Terry (probably Alex and Trevor too) had prepared for all of us.  All the family favorites for sure.  We managed to take some appetizers and a pineapple upside down cake.

T-Bird...I called Bryce and he and Tyler go to Skype and Tyler got to meet Sam.

Scarlett put on a show.

Last time we were home the CA and WI cousins were there.  WE had a little taste test to see who was the best, Stewarts or Midway.  As you can see we are a family divided.  Terry and Lisa got us watercolors from a friend of theirs.  What a surprise and such an awesome thing to do.

Hmmmm, seems like there is a little division among other family members when it comes to good eats.

Also a family tradition is Old Faithful.  This same box has been wrapped the same way for as long as I can remember.

This year Papaw shared the box with Cassie and Emmy.

It was filled with lottery tickets.  And don't you know that Cassie was the big winner...$5!  Looks like Emmy and Papaw got to keep their scratching quarters.
