Hands Against Hunger

A few weeks ago Mark, Michael, and I went with the Builders Club from the Junior High to a service project with Hands Against Hunger. You can read about to a few blog posts below. We were hooked. Mark and I volunteered to join the Red Shirt Team of volunteers. And today it was trial by fire. We each had our own table of at least ten volunteers.  

These were my volunteers!

I had half as many little ones and big ones.  They decorated boxes....

They pounded bags...

They were adorable...

They helped scoop and measure the weight of the bags.

We ended up packing 7 boxes that made up the 52,272 meals that were packed!
