Academic Awards Night and Last Day of School Traditions

I'm trying to play blog catch-up while everyone is napping and the weather is too bad to work in he yard.  So here goes....

Received this post card in the mail.  I asked Michael about it and of course he has no idea about it.

Thanks Matt Arnett for the panoramic of all the Academic Award recipients and their proud family and friends.
Found him in the crowd.

Mrs. Ellison will be moving to Meadowview Elementary next year.

Some people we know...Carl from scouts.

Michael's buddy Zach.

My other son, Luke, from next door.

Our computer tech helper, Logan, who also is a scout.

Michael receiving his award for honor roll.

Good old Sam.

First Quarter...3.50
Second Quarter...3.50
Third Quarter...3.83
Fourth Quarter...3.83
Overall for the year...3.665

The dinner tradition on the last day of school is Pizza Hut.

We started a tradition a few years ago of having a camp out on the last day of school.  The second year it was a camp out with computers set up in the tent.  This year they moved to the basement.  Fun bunch of great boys...minus a few.
