First Cutting

I think this year we will only need to worry about cutting the front yard.  Maybe a fertilizing application later on this week.  The chickens seems to be able to take care of weeds, grass and tender shoots coming up.  We could have a naked backyard this year.  I noticed tonight that they Big Girls have decided that under the kitchen window is the best place to have a dirt bath.  Going to be moving some hosta tomorrow in between the raindrops.
