Teenager In the Houuusssseee

This year waiting for Michael after school was my very quick version of a cookie cake.  And that is a 13 not a B.

A little family get together.

Mamaw always made sure you got a birthday card on your birthday.  Papaw is going to carry on the tradition in his own special way.  Never knew he was such an artist.

Since Michael's birthday fell on a Monday this year we waited until Friday night to celebrate with a big party with friends.  Eight boys camped out in the basement with food per Michael's request...vegetable try, fruit tray, cheese tray and pretzels and M&M's in a bowl.  Along with some Pepsi and Sierra Mist.  They each brought some type of computer and they had little stations set up so they could all play the same game.  It was amazing to see.

This one didn't fall asleep until about 11:45 am, just before his Mom came to pick him up.

First actual on time arrival person..

Wyatt made some really good quiche thingies...and his buddy probably was the quietest of the bunch.

The oldest member of the group...a big 8th grader!

The most changed of all of Michael's friends.

And this one is the party animal.  He came over around 4:30 I think, to help get ready.  He also was the first one asleep because he had to go to work at 10am.

The boy loves a big cookie cake.  And I added the candles that keep lighting themselves.

I can't even could the times that he said he was so excited for the party.  He helped get things ready and then helped with the clean-up.  Never seem him so happy or excited about anything.

Happy 13th Michael!
