It Was A Hot One

So the yahoos are staying for the rest of the week so we can go camping with some friends.  Today was a HOT one...in the 90's... which we here in Ohio haven't seen for quite some time.  So what do you do to entertain...but of course...go to CONEY!

But first things first...toad hunts!  Ellis found this little one.

Luke came over and told them to look in the window wells.  And sure enough Ellis found a bigger one.

Alaire wasn't too happy that she couldn't find any.  But Ellis shared for just a few seconds...long enough for a picture.  The little one eventually got lost in the yard waste in the back of Pappy's truck.  The big one is still out in the tub in the backyard.  But I think a cat or something exotic will come and turn it over in the night and he will get away. (wink, wink)

They wanted a picture of them eating at Penn Station...their Mom would be so jealous!

Many, many trips up and down the silver slide.

Lots of jumping and playing Simon Says off the island.

Diving lessons in the deep end with Pappy.

I really can't decide who had the most fun today.

But I can tell you who was the most tired... 

and who was starving!
