Saturday Afternoon Drive

It is in our blood...drives out in the country.  Just pick a road and go.  So we decided to go to New Richmond for lunch and to browse the junk shops.  But everything was closed up tighter than a drum.  So we left town and took a left.  We ended up in Maysville, Ky.  I have always wanted to go on the walking Maysville Heritage Quilt Trail.  Perfect!

We didn't get too far down the road and I was out the window shooting pics.

There were three fields of wild turkeys...probably about 50 of them!

Always snapping shots of barns in all shapes and sizes.

Just outside New Richmond...they got lots more ice than we did.

More deer really close to the road...little two lane back road.

 Frozen solid.

The next thing I have to do is learn the names of all these blocks.

And all of a sudden there was a floodwall with murals.  Incredible!

Star of Bethlehem

I have already decided that we need to go back and spend an entire day! Be there when the shops open and stay until the close.

We did find a great place for lunch...Chandler's on Market.  You need to go to one of my other blogs, Eating Our Way Thru OHIO to read about it.
