Scout Turkey Feast

Michael spent the weekend at Camp Craig for the last camp out of the year.  It is also the annual Thanksgiving Feast.  And what a feast it was!

See ya later buddy!

The adults cooked while some of the boys worked on hiking requirements.  Michael said he a read a book.

A few cub scout were invited.

I think I read that there were reservations for 170 people.  Now, that's a whole lot of cooking.

And it was delicious!

There were so many desserts!

Michael wanted to take us back to the campsite so we had a little nature hike...over the hills and through the woods.

Who wants to guess what this is?

Home Sweet Home

Michael shared a tent with a boy from another patrol this time.

Getting ready for the skits around the campfire.

Our MC for the night.

The Ugliest Man in The World skit.

Instead of a campfire, we enjoyed a smoke pit.  No one seemed to care...we all just had fun watching the boys.

The morning after the campfire and everyone is loading up.

Hmmm.  I think I know who that trap belongs to.....

Headed back to the campsite to make sure everything is picked up.

Der Bus pulling the trailer.

There she is in all of her glory...
