Hiking With Lucy

Today is a strange day....Carter is home with his Mom and new sister (blog later) and Doodles and Noodles are at Grammy's.  So it s just LucyLouWho and me today.  It is so nice outside we decided it would be a great day to go on a hike at the Nature Center.

 

This one loves to hike an run the trails.  And she tends to run towards kid voices.

We hiked, climbed, ran, hid in rock tunnels, smelled the flowers, picked up lots of rock and a few leaves, watched the birds and played in the rocks.  Then we went inside to see all the animals dead and alive in the Nature Center Building.  By the time we were finished she could hardly go another step so I put her on my shoulders.  Not even two seconds later she put her head down on mine and took a little rest.

 

A great day to be outside with just one yahoo.
