Fun Friday #6 Salt Paintings

Wonder what this conversation is about?

The big kids got to go out in the backyard with is piece of cardboard and had to find a leaf that would fit.

 

I traced the leaf and then they painted it with glue.

 

Then we laid the salt to it.  Covered it really good!

After that the artists had to wait until the glue dried and then the magic happened.

The salt drank up all the watercolors.

They loved it so I am guessing we will do this again!
