The Big Cook Out

Everybody chipped in to fix dinner.

 

Alaire's job was cutting the strawberries in half.

Ellis cut off the tops.

Michael also helped cut off tops.

We lost Michael in the decoration part.  Been there done that Mom, let Ellis and Alaire learn how to do it.

Finished product...looks good enough to eat!  Looks like Maddie was going to have the first lick.

Trevor, the grill master...grilled burgers, blue cheese burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and buttered buns.

The hot tub makes the perfect buffet.  This is only half the food, bakes beans and deviled eggs were still in the house.

 

I was so busy eating that I forgot to take pics.  Then we were all so full we couldn't move.  I enjoyed watched the kids play all the games and swing in the hammock while the older ones soaked their weary muscles in the hot tub.

 

And all to soon it was time for the Oakes to pack up and head down the Interstate.
