Indy Trip...Spring Break 2013

Just happened to find this awesome place.  The only other thing I would do different for the next trip...bring Ellis and Alaire.

Inside the Crowne...which actually is still a train station.

Ghost statues were "hidden" everywhere.

Took this one for my Dad.

And we will stay in one of the train cars.  The rooms look awesome!

Beautiful stained glass windows everywhere.

Union Station was beyond beautiful!

Dinner at the Weber Grill was good.  The used grill parts in the decorations in the dining rooms...grill lids for light shades over the warming stations...grill grates as dividers between sections and the kettle section on the grill as flower planters.  My kind of place and the  food was good too!

 

Dessert was 'homemade by us' at the Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream and Nestle's Cookie Shop. We showed them how to make Chip-O-Wheelies...Cincinnati Style. 

 

A little late night swim.

We slept in and then walked a few blocks to breakfast.  Best breakfast I have had in a long time.

Michael is always looking for that sign.  I think he might have an addiction!

Michael and I walked up while Mark paid the $2 to ride up.  But I hate to say that we all rode down.

It was great fun and I am ready for the return trip.
