Squirrels Feeding

We feed as many squirrels as we do birds and kids around here!

They are fun to watch.  And we even have one that knocks on the backdoor when the seeds are running low.

Carter and I mixed up some peanut butter and sunflower seeds and loaded up a grapefruit rind.  Mark then nailed it to the old junk Christmas tree ladder.

And this was the next thing that happened.  Are you kidding me!

The grapefruit stayed on the limb until the next day.  I thought it was gone until I looked higher in the tree and there it was...tucked in close to the trunk.

The the circus acrobatic show that we get to watch everyday...priceless.  I have to clean the glass on the door every night after the yahoos go home.
