Riverwalk Trail
Today we walk out last hike with our Pack as a cub scout. Tomorrow will be the crossover into Boy Scouts.
The Dan Beard 5-Mile Riverwalk Trail is a national historic trail that took us through two states, three cities, and across three unique bridges that took us across two rivers.

The Purple People Bridge...the only pedestrian bridge across the Ohio River.

This is Tylor Park, the site of the old Newport Barracks, a military outpost during the French and Indian War
This part of the trail follows the levee and is dedicated to the Boy Scouts.
This is the Memorial Brudge that corsses the Licking River. This bridge was used for parades and ceremonies until World War II.
The house Daniel Beard played in as a child. The Beard House is now a private residence and is listed on the National Historic Registry.
