A Little Birdwatching From The Couch

Not one of my favorite birds...a starling.  Not sure if he is going to like the suet with cayenne pepper in it.  The squirrels love it.

Still trying to figure this one out.  All we know is that it is some kind of woodpecker.  Any guesses?

I checked in the my favorite guy at the Cincinnati Nature Center and he says this little beauty is a Northern Flicker.
