A Little Girl TIme

My good friend and all time best garden buddy is here for a short visit.  She said that she wouldn't come if we didn't work in the yard.  We haven't touched a weed yet!  But we did get a wonderful relaxing morning on the Little Miami! Can you see that little orange speck in the shot above...that is her cruising down the Little Miami.

This will be the first and last time (I hope) that you will ever see me in a bathing suit.  It is only here because it is the best shot of us together on the river.  Mark took it right at the beginning of our little adventure!

She rows like a pro....even goes down the 'riffles' backwards.  Because of the very dry weather we have had and lack of rain, the river was really low.  And that means a lot of bottom dragging.  We drug our bottoms all day long.  And at one point a fish, a big fish, about jumped in the boat with her.  It was a great day...most relaxing trip down ever!

When it was all said and done we were a little hungry, tired and sunburned (well, I was sunburned) so the boys took us to Eli's for 'linner'. That's what Michael calls it we you get up late and miss breakfast and eat lunch at 3PM.  Ms Yvonne got to meet Porche and eat some of the best pulled pork in the town!  I think she even made a deal with the owner...something about trading beer for food......
