The Pit Stop
Well, maybe it was a clothing exchange/dinner engagement. Have I told you all that I am so excited and beyond thrilled that the Oakes family have moved closer to 'home'. Closer meaning that they are only a little over two hours away and we can jump in the van and see them anytime we want to. Or they cam come and see us. You have no idea how happy that makes this old Wammy!
So after all the baptism excitement of the afternoon we pack the van and head to Dry Ridge, Kentucky...our official pit stop/exchange point. Perfect location...doesn't take anytime to get there and there are a wide variety of places to eat...because you know us we like to eat. We met at LaRosa's for dinner and a little impromptu birthday celebration for Ellis.
Doesn't that little tidbit make you want to go out and buy the book and read it in that little snail voice?

Auntie Em can't stand it...she has to be the best aunt ever...
Ellis has been eyeing these shoes forever. I think he loves his new skids.
A little light reading before our dinner is served.
One of our favorite book. To make it even better you have to read it in the voice of Marcel the Shell. Oh, you say you don't know his voice...not to worry...remember to go to the bottom and mute the music on the blog
