Fun Friday #10

We are just a little early with Fun Friday this week.  Two thirds of the yahoos will be spending the day with their grandma tomorrow so we had to celebrate a good week today on Terrific Thursday.  We started out the morning going great guns getting all of Wammy's chores out of the way...laundry, laundry and more laundry plus just a  little quilting.  Then we packed up with a little sweet treat from my stash and headed for a little park we found last week.
Tucked back int he corner of Old Milford we found 'The Little Park.'  We were the only ones there...wouldn't have had anything to do with all the kids being in school or that the wind was blowing at about 10 mph and it was maybe 45 degrees.  We don't care, bundle  up and have at it.  We will work up enough warmth to keep us from freezing.

There is a really old cemetary that was established in the 70's in honor of and in memory of Paul E. Riffle.

A little hiking thru the forest as Allyson called it.  We followed the white arrow trail.  Next time we are going to try to go on the red arrow trail because it heads down to the river.  Might just have to take Michael and a few buddies to scope it out before I take these yahoos.

I think she might be a little confused...yesterday was Wacky Wednesday and we wore our clothes backyards.

There is absolutely nothing this kids won't try to climb.

Our only complaint of the day was that we had to share the one big swing.  There is one regular swing and one baby bucket swing.

Somebody was getting tired.

Not this one...

or this one.

Last chance to do one more things before we go.

Carter is finally getting the idea what when Wammy has her camera you might as well stop and let her take a few shots or she will stalk you around the playground.

We made it home with one one sleeping solider.  But he managed to wake up long  enough to eat his lunch...then they were all out within 5 minutes.

Trying out some new sleeping arrangements...Allyson in our bed...

Doodles and Jaden on the top bunk in 'the train room'...

and ...well, Carter started out in his bed in Michael's room.  Then he moved to Michael's bed.  Then to my arms. And now he is sleeping soundly on a soft warm quilt on the kitchen floor right beside my feet along with the dogs.  I am hoping he wakes up before Michael gets here because the dogs barking greeting Michael at the door is going to make him jump out of his skin.
