I'm About To My Limit
Michael thought they looked so sweet together sleeping in the chair. And they do. I had a little warm glow just thinking about how great they are getting along.....until Mark saw a spot on the couch cushion. Not just a little spot but one that I could have curled up in. And after further investigation...more spots! I watch the oldest one like a hawk all say long every day. Ella knows to go to the front door and ring her bell. Seau hates going outside when it rains. So far everyday that she has been 'visiting' she has had an accident usually on some type of upholstered furniture, never the hardwood floors...well, maybe a few of those. So the cushion covers are in the wash...hope they survive...and the cushions have been cleaned and now are air drying. Guess now I will invest in a gate to go across the doorway so she can't get into the living room. Looks like kitchen living during the day in a ' daybed' and her kennel as usual at night in the family room.
UPDATE: We moved the kitchen table around. Blocked off the way to the living room with the bench (the girls are going to freak!) and slid the living room chair and a half by the steps. Living room blocked off. Nice big cozy quilt under the kitchen table. That lasted about 5 minutes. The second we went out to feed the rabbit, Ella figured a way to get under the bench and on the chair. Seau hasn't figured it out just yet. She seems pretty happy and content on the quilt right under my feet.
