Dog Days Of Summer

That means a few things around here these days...

Ella lays in the sun on the driveway and bakes while we are outside where she can see us.  If she can't see us she starts barking her head off.  I am sure the neighbors just love that.  When we come in she parks herself in one of two places...in the chair by the window or on the couch by the other window.  the beagle in her wants to be out chasing anything that moves.

Bryce and Tini brought Seau and all of her stuff over today.  She will be spending her last days with us. All she does literally is eat, pee, sleep, pee and pee some more.  Something new she is going to have to adjust to is a kennel.  I need to make sure my two legged and four legged friends are all safe during the day.  Don't feel sorry for her...she is livin' like a queen.  Bryce doesn't work far from here so during the week  he will be stopping by to visit with her.

And this is Maddie.  No, she won't be living at our house.  Ellis and Alaire rescued her via a family in church that rescued her from the side of the road.  I am sure Cassie will have more info about that on her blog later this week.  

I'm thinking that I should invest in a big bag of treats and  lots of Febreze or candles in the next few days because we have all gone to the dogs!
