Last Hours of Vacation

I think that Alaire might be wishing that she was back on the river tubing without a care in the world.

Well at least two of the three are excited about passing papers.

Ellis has just the right amount of swing to get the papers on the driveways...he had some practice in CO.

And the extra little facial expression makes it all happen.

We has this hibiscus on one of the mailboxes and had to get a shot.

Of course Alaire had to have her turn.  Crack me up.

She really rares back for her throws...pretty accurate too.

After all that hard work we had to get the last lunch out before they headed for home.  PS has always been one of the places they would have to eat when they came to visit from CO.  But now being in Lexington it is not a big deal anymore because they have them in KY.

We have a special place that is about half way between Cincinnati and Lexington where we pick-up and drop-off.  I love it because we always get to eat dinner too.  Trying to fit everything is sometimes can be a challenge.
Holding to Pappy's tradition...at every stop everyone gets a treat...Ellis and Alaire show us the candy they got to eat on the return trip home.  Wondering if a sugar high was the right choice?

FYI..the last time Ellis came to visit he ended up leaving with strep throat.   And again this time.  Wondering if it is something in the house or the air in Cincinnati.  How do you get strep throat anyway?  He will survive...antibiotics are a good things, especially if they are grape flavored.
