Pinewood Derby...Phase 9...Car Stand

One of leaders works at that 'other home improvement place'. He got all the boys a football stand to construct and use as a holder/display case for their Pinewood Derby cars.

Michael likes using his very own hammer...thanks to Dad and LOWE'S.

We have to have this project finished so we can take it to the next meeting so I sanded it one afternoon while the little ones were sleeping so Michael could prime it after school.

Let me just say that spraying is hard.  How do you teach a kid to stand back and spray in little crossways movements? We had a few runs, but he is happy with it.
