Pinewood Derby...Phase 6...Wheels

Pinewood Derby construction took place today after breakfast before the bus stop. Mark has to work during the official weigh-in and compounding of the cars tonight.

Yesterday I was in charge of putting graphite on the wheels and working it in. This morning it was time to add the wheels...and more graphite.

Check out the Micheal size hammer Mark just happened to pick up at Lowe's.

To make sure that we don't have the same problem we had last time a car was built in our house....some twenty  years ago...Mark is making sure that the the wheels stay put.

Wheels attached and spun.  Looks like they will go forever.  Time to clean 'er up!
