Pinewood Derby...Phase 5...Weights and Decals

 If I had to choose one part of the construction of this Derby car...this would be it.  Cutting out space underneath the car to place the weights.  It gave us fits.

 We tried using every tool in the tools box and then some.

When all else fails...beat it to death with a hammer!

Nimble fingers for such small crews.

Mark took everything to the Post Office and had it weighed...exactly 5 ounces.

Mr 'I like things to be exactly the same'...decals were a challenge for all of us...made sure that everything was exactly the same all around the car.  All in twos.

I love it that he wanted to put an American flag and the checkered flag on the back.  This car is defiantly a winner.

And flames...all race cars should have flames on the sides.
