Remembering Daniel
Hello,
You are getting this email because in some way or another you have a connection to David and Andrea Sutton. I know they are so grateful for the support that so many of you have provided for them over this first year without Daniel. The anniversary of his "Heaven Day" as Andrea calls it, is coming up on Jan. 21st. I have been trying to think of a way that we could all easily show them that we still love and support them as much now as we did then. The following is what I have come up with.
David, Andrea, and Ashley have found comfort over the last year in writing messages to Daniel on balloons and then releasing them to heaven. I would like to propose that we all place one helium balloon somewhere in our front yard for the day of Friday the 21st. After you have displayed your balloon take a picture and email it or Facebook it to Andrea and David with a short note to remind them that we are all thinking of them. If you would like to participate please send your picture at any time on the 21st to one of the address listed below.

I never got a chance to meet Daniel, but I feel that I knew him through, Trevor, Cassie, Ellis and Alaire. He was their best buddy. I've met Andrea once when Michael and I were visiting CO. Andrea and I seem to have a few things in common...the love of kids, family and friends. Sometimes when we can't sleep we find each other on FB.
If you feel a little tug at your heart or if you have walked in their shoes, please take a moment to let them know you are thinking about them.
And I just found out that today is National Hug Day. How perfect is that... it's a God Thing for sure!
