Family Birthday Dinner

Seems like this is the never ending birthday! Tonight we are gathering around the table to have a family birthday dinner. Michael wanted to invite, Peepaw, Mamaw and Papaw, Cassie, Trevor Ellis and Alaire. But he will have to be happy with the family that lives less that 30 minutes away. He has also prepared the menu...

WalMart's 'sticky' chicken on a Hawaiian roll (a Robert's family favorite...what he grew up on in WI...it was the only game in town)...mashed potatoes...and a side of pretzels with a little apple cider to wash it all down.

For dessert...white cupcakes with chocolate frosting and little 'flat circles'...I guess we shouldn't complain it could be shrimp cocktails, surf and turf, Au Gratin potatoes, and baked Alaska.
Sarah stopped in for a bite before going to babysit. She brought along her new best friend, Appy...known to us as Claire...you really don't want to know how this sweet little puppy got its names...it is priceless!


One more day of celebrating...some friends are coming over on Saturday...I didn't know it was so hard to turn 9!
