A Buckeye Christmas
Before the mayhem set in...
Our poor, sad, old tree.
Michael set out a very special plate of cookies for Santa...peanut butter with a sprinkle of chocolate chips and his own snowman creation cookie. And he filled the Polar Express cup to the brim with ice cold milk. He had carrots and fresh cold water for the reindeer. I've never seen him go to bed and to sleep so fast. The lights were out and all of us in bed by 9:30PM.
This was Michael's Lego Star Wars Christmas for sure. He has box after box of vehicles he will put together....and if today is any indication...that won't take very long. Only problem...where do we display them all? Looks like we are going to be investing on some shelves for his room.
Michael loves to shop at the Santa Shop at school. He actually thinks about all his gifts. He chose a really pretty silver box with jewelry in it for Sarah. He was so excited!
A Darth Vader alarm clock brought a big smile.

We got to Skype with Ellis and Alaire Christmas morning too. They showed us all their gifts and got to watch me open my gift from Cassie and Alaire.
This is our family according to Alaire. Cassie then transferred the drawing to fabric and stitched it. I love it. They even put it in a rustic white frame...my favorite also. One of the funny parts about her drawing...the brown person in the upper left corner is Trevor...he is the only one she drew with hair...he really doesn't have hair...Mark has more hair than Trevor. Crack me up!

Crack me up!Some of your may be wondering where Bryce and Tini are....in Florida. The Martini's spend Christmas in warm, sunny Florida...a family tradition. We have talked to Bryce several times and plan to have a Christmas with them when they get back.
