The Aftermath
After all the cooking and eating we decided to take Peep to experience Old Milford Hometown Holidays...actually Emmy and I wanted to check out the new chocolate store and the new outdoors store.
The first thing we saw...and we knew Alaire had to ride in one next time she is here...a princess carriage thru the town. I risk limb and leg to step in the street to get this one...not too great.
We walked the the streets listening to Christmas music and smelling roasted cinnamon almonds and pecans. We managed to find all the little treats the stores have tucked away in all their merchandise. That Michael sure does have a nose!
Michael found this recipe that he just knew we needed. We plan to tweak it just a little by adding a little bit of snow.
If we weren't sitting around the table eating we were playing Mesh Mash or something like that. Peep gets a little up set when Emmy moves the cards around. We had to call his two sisters to get some rule clarifications.
And low and behold, Boomerang (read about his first visit here) came back! We found him hanging upside down on the outhouse door in the living room. Strange on many accounts I know.
