COSI

Sunday after the race we headed for COSI. Michael was in a really grumpy mood. He wasn't happy about much of anything...we have drug him all over the streets of Columbus for a few days...and his little legs can only take so much. But we thought he would enjoy COSI. So we parked and drug him up the steps and into the building...

'Mom, you didn't tell me it was all about science. Science is my favorite!!! I LOVE science!!!' Score one for the adults.
He first tried his hand at making a science themed movie.

Mark and Emmy had a hair raising experience. (The little guy/kid about Michael's age told Emmy that her hair was the best he had ever seen.) Even with semi wet hair Emmy got a good charge.
Then Michael and I pretended that we were going 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.

Emmy caught us watching Mark manipulate an underwater robot camera.

Michael could have stayed here for the rest of the day. I think we might just have a mechanical engineer on our hands in a few years.

This was way cool. That is a dome of fountain water. Emmy figured out how to part the water...she must be a descendant of Moses...

This was so hard. Using a simple pulley, you had to pull yourself up. I have no upper body strength at all. Think I better get out the weights and get to work.
I felt bad for Emmy. She had just finished 13.1 miles in less that three hours and now we had her trudging around COSI. Every chance she got she would sit and rest her legs.

Michael took this shot. He thought it was soooooo funny.

He loves dinosaurs! And to be able to manipulate the bones of one...heaven in a little boys eyes.
And you can't go to COSI and not have some astronaut ice cream. We got three different kinds...mint chocolate chip, plain vanilla and ice cream sandwiches. The mint chocolate chip was gone before we got out of the parking lot.
