Before The Storm
Our day started out so nice...everyone playing nicely, sharing, Carter napping, Doodles on the potty a million and one times, Allyson singing to us off and on, Ella Bella calm, housework under control...a good day. Then I noticed the sky starting to turn a really dark color of blue-gray. The wind started to blow...really blow and there was the smell of rain in the air. Bryce called to tell me that a big bad storm was coming. It was barrelling thru downtown. And then I heard the sirens. Okay, get everyone in to safety. Grab all the toys and throw them into the garage. Try to figure out what glass things in the yard might get broken....
But before all the storm chasing activities...we were having such a great day.
Playing so hard in the leaves, faces, hands, clothes all required some good scrubbing.
Leaves, leaves, everywhere. I'm almost sure I found some in the pull-up before nap time.

Told you the wind began to blow...good thing our snap was all gone.
Having a great day just chillin' in her tutu.
Happy to report that all is well. All our trees survived, nothing blew away and not one of the little ones got scared. We were some of the lucky ones. The schools were in tornado mode for almost an hour.
