Piggy Nightlights
Michael is a just a tad bit hard to buy gifts for...he HATES clothes for gifts...he loves to read and manipulate things...but his Aunt RaRe hit the mother load. She found a calendar that has a Guinness World Record for everyday of the year. (Oh, we are going to be soooooo smart. Do you think we could be on Jeopardy...we need to win some money to replace our furnace?)
Here are two examples from this week...
FASTEST WALK ON WATER
Wearing self-propelled buoyancy shoes, a team competing in the 2003 Edinburgh Science Festival managed to walk on water for a distance of 131 feet in 1 minute 10.8seconds.
WORLD'S FIRST GLOW-IN-THE-DARK PIGLETS
Born in 2005, the world's first glow-in-the-dark piglets were created by a team from Taiwan University's Department of Animals Science and Technology. The team added jellyfish genes to pig embryos to produce the little piggy nightlights.
Who are these people? Where do these people come up with these ideas? I guess I need to think way outside the box if I am ever going to compete.
