Bubble Fun
Friday was a busy day but I have to say that it was the best day I have had in a long time. Nothing but smiles and tons of fun. First we helped Haley ride a bike, then Victor was supposed to come over but her was sick, Luke was here all day, Sarah was working two jobs so we provided the shuttle service, Emmy and Grace came over for lunch and a quick trip to the new cupcake store up the road....busy busy! Our August issue of Family Fun came and I devoured it. So many good ideas in it this month. One of the first ideas we tried was the Foamerator. If you blow evenly and softly you can get a foam snake three feet long. It is so easy...use a small sturdy plastic pop bottle. Cut out the bottom and cover it with a wet piece of cloth secured with a rubber band. Now dip the cloth end of the bottle in a small bowl of dish washing detergent...and blow. Luke wanted to try a little bit of everything on the end of his bottle. Here he is checking out the cloth napkin...what?...that came from the kitchen table...don't think so little buddy. He ended up with a piece of towel when he took his Foamerator home to show his parents.
