Brown Eggs

Sarah has a friend named Jackie. Jackie has a farm. On the farm there are horses and chickens of many kinds. Last night Jackie brought over our first dozen of fresh eggs hot off the nest. Not really they are about a week old. Did you know that the eggs that you buy at the grocery store are about 6 weeks old already? I didn't know that either. I'll be glad to go get my fresh brown eggs anytime of any day in any kind of weather. I love brown eggs...don't ask me why, I just do. Thanks Jackie!
