It Really Must Be Spring
I can hardly believe it...spring came to our backyardover the weekend.. Well, it was warm enough to work but we had to do it in between rain showers and high winds.
A few storms ago I got some free 'mulch'. It is actually just trees that were chipped up into big chunks along with an assortment of twigs. I figured that we could use it behind the barn where it is muddy and around the compost bin and finally around the 4x4 raised vegetable beds we are going to have this summer. 
Bryce came to have birthday dinner (Mark's birthday was last week) and to help out in the yard all day. Not to mention that we needed him to help get the last of the big tree trunks up in the truck.
Does he look like he works up an appetite? I think so. Emmy made the best burgers that we have had in awhile. I think she might have some secret ingredients up her sleeve. Jobs well done. But we still need some extra muscle...any takers?
