Rainy Days Ahead
My plans to remove a huge dump of tree chippings was ruined today by our yucky weather and a little boy thathas developed a bad cough. So what to do on a rainy, yucky day...
you read your library book. Now it is not often that I can learn something from a library book from the elementary school...but this book was the exception. Did you know that if a pumpkin is a darker orange/greenish color...it is considered an old pumpkin because it has been on the vine longer? And did you know that if you want lots of pumpkin seeds to roast...choose a pumpkin that has lots of lines on the outside. Because each one of those lines hole a bunch of seeds on the inside.
And lastly, a pumpkin is a fruit. Amazing!
