An Honor

With the days I have been having with trying to upload the cutest video of Allyson 'talking' to me, I was thrilled to received a blogging honor from one of my newest blogging friends, Jan, way out in California. I have her listed in Google Reader as JP because I tend to get confused with us both having the same name. JP joined our little group at GAG. Now back to the award...
“This blog invests and believes in ‘proximity’ [meaning that blogging makes us 'close' - being close through proxy].” That is just what we started this blog for. Our first daughter, first in the first set of twins (by only two minutes), first to move away, first to get married, first to have our precious grandchildren...we wanted to be able to let her see what we were doing way across the country. We also wanted to see what they were doing so far away. Then when the grandchildren came...well, they had to know who the crazy family was...what better way to have our home be familiar to them when they comes to visit. Since starting this blog I have come to find out that there are lots of people who keep track of us (just wish they would leave a comment or two every once in awhile to let us know what they are up to) by using Sitemeter. It is a wonderful thing! (thank you Cassie) All of that to say, thank you JP for the honor.
