The Farmers' Almanac

I have always wanted an Almanac. I just find all the tidbits of information fun to read. So tonight I am reading the one I picked up at CVS today...I was looking for someting about wolly worms predicting how bad the winter is going to be. No luck there, but I did find this...




October 2008 Weather Forecast

(Great Lakes and Midwest...Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio , Kentucky)


1-3 Fair and cold

4-7 Squalls, especially the Great Lakes area

8-11 Sunny skies

12-15 Cold winds and rains for the Ohio River Valley, followed by clearing and cold conditions

16-19 Squalls mostly in the Great Lakes area

20-23 Colder and drier weather moves in

24-27 Wet weather, followed by clearing and colder conditions

28-31 Cold and dry just in time for trick-or-treaters




I'm going to keep track of the weather from today until the end of the month and just see how accurate they are.
